Still think Dave's car will be faster trap speed wise which should transulate to a win if the power to weight ratios are similar... the nitrous car isn't going to hook if on anything but a slick or MT DR...

You 2 need to go to Crandal where they dont care about roll cages and tech, and do a best 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5 showdown...

Are either cars going to need to shift to fifth? That could cause a problem for the blower car if its going through the last few hundred feet bogging... The nitrous car will have a huge advantage here with all the torque...

I have 3.31's so I shouldn't have to.

Which is great for a track car taking a lot of driver error out of the equation.

looked it up... your 4th is a 1.34/1. My 86 has a TKO with a 1.32/1 which is nearly identical to your fourth. I had 3.55s and a 28" tire which is similar to a 3.25 rear gear vs my stock tire height.

I could only go about 120 at 7200 rpm, and you guys are spinning 7800-8000 correct? I would hope both of your cars would trap in the 135-140 range, so if that's the case you need a tall tire (28-29") or you are going to need to shift. If David has 3.73's he's gonna have to shift regardless of his tires. He'd be better off running a 26" slick if possible.

Just some friendly advice. Im good at math and stuff.

these are 28" tall, he MIGHT be able to cross the line screaming in fourth which would be ideal... at the top charge of his blower and not having to include an extra shift.

David's car was moving under its own power Saturday when I went up to ts with my car. Car sounds damn good. I helped push a non running black car into the shop at closing, but not sure if that was the other car or not.
