I'll start sending some emails out when I go back to work next week. Not sure what kind of permit or red tape I will have to go through but I'm sure someone at the department will know the right people to talk to.
My old car club back when I had my first car, a Honda, used to meet at Papa's BBQ on the first Sunday of every month. Pretty good BBQ and lots of parking space. They don't mind car meets as long as you give them some business.

Yup, cool place, decent food and centrally located. We had a few meets there years ago too.
