Well seeing as he built my car with the same parts as his and we both dynoed the same (within 5rwhp) before and after mods. I'm pretty sure mine will do the same. I'm not worried about being flamed. Now he's a better driver than me so. Just cuz I can't make the same times don't mean my car can't lol. He's got about 10years more experience than me.

Here we go with this type of bullshit. This site kills me with this. My buddies car ran this so mine should, but he is a better driver so I won't do it but the car can do it. It doesn't matter what the car can do, if you drive like shit you still lose and will still be told your car is slow. The car is only as fast as you so if you suck so does your car.

Holy fuck you guys are dense. Did anyone see the fucken video I posted? That is Vic's old car. It was built by him, and he also built Zeek's car. They have the same cams, same motor mods, made almost the same power... they are also both fucken 08s!

The difference is Vic had a few hundred lbs out of his, and it was a 1lt which is another 100 lbs or so less. If Zeek had Vic do the same weight mods, the car will run about the same. If one person clones another car and its mods, they will run the about the same. This isnt rival shops from different cities with different weather etc etc... Zeek wont run a mid 10 at 132 with his street tires at full weight, but it will still be gd fast. Id guess a 127 to 128 as it sits... with him driving

Clearly you have missed all of the chit chats I have had with Steve over this exact subject. I have the exact same view point as you do. If two cars are built with the exact same mods, yes, they should be fairly close, and it will depend on the drive.

Steve himself has stated MANY, MANY time that not all cars are the same. So don't come around giving that bullshit you just spewed when what I stated is the exact shit that is preached here time and time again like a broken record.

Even Donnie's quote says the complete opposite of what you are saying. So if you are going to call me dense, might as well throw the same density his direction.

Did you and Steve have the same person do the exact same mods to your car? If not, its not the same as what Im saying... zeek's car is a clone of Vic's silver bullet, the only difference being weight at this point. afaik you and Steve have different mods and different tunes, just similar power. The other difference is Steve can drive great, and he says you cant... Vic is one of the best driver's in dfw I know of, but zeek is no slouch. ive personally raced him 5 times, and he can shift great. You and Steve were also talking about qtr mile racing, there is less involved from a roll... Zeek may not have as good as a launch technique as Vic persay, but Zeek can row the damn gears which is what matters from a roll.

I have no where near the experience at the track as Steve does, but doesn't mean I can't drive on the street. I suck at launching. Never practiced feathering the clutch and stuff at the truck, and never really done it on the street either. Doesn't mean I can't row gears well enough.
