It's a 2011 5.0 6 sp manual tranny, they replaced the clutch hub assembly and said the return line had a small leak they fixed that and added freon. Checked the compressor and everything was fine there. total out the door was $481, they paid for the rental car. guess that's better than nothing

That's not too bad but its a 2011, I have a 2004 nissan with 228k miles with ac on every summer and heat every winter with no ac replacement or top off.

These cars should not have ac issues. Any updates on the heatshield?

No it wouldn't be too bad but it is the 2nd time I had to have the same part replaced. Hopefully the last time for awhile.

When they changed it out did they use the same part or did they update the compressor to handle the heat better?
