I haven't had any good mexican food since moving to Texas. You can find decent tex-mex here though if you know where to go. Otherwise it's all the same out of the can type cooking.

There is some good Mexican food in California, but that "fresh-mex" stuff you can keep! I'm not sure about Dallas but in Ft. Worth there aren't a whole lot of really good Mexican food places. San Antonio on the other hand is one of my favorite places to go and gain 20 pounds.

Haha, "fresh mex" is awesome! Food should not taste like it came out of a can or a freezer. As a Californian, you get spoiled from all the fresh food, especially the fruit where oranges and strawberries grow everywhere.

Agreed on San Antonio. There are so many good places there it's hard to decide where to go on a short weekend trip when we take the kids to Sea World. lol
