The difference is minor between the 2. And even tho you can turn the cel off it will not pass inspection. Go with the high flow cats you wont regret it. The exhaust will be loud enough with the cats and maybe to loud without the cats with your current exhaust set up

That's what I was thinking, I snagged a video of my car without headers and the current setup going wide open...and it's already pretty damned loud
Plus, I really have bad luck with inspection and trying to sneak through even with a hook-up
