Default GT500 strut mounts

You are fine. But I would recommend getting a new set of stock strut mounts just in case the ones on the car fall apart and/or lose some bearings.

And if your going to buy some extra stock might as well upgrade to the GT500 mounts

IIRC, the GT500 mounts won't work with 11-13 style struts because the piston shaft diameter is slightly different.

Wait I am confused now.. The GT500 mounts will not work with 11+s? Mine also started creaking and I was looking to replace with GT500s when I go back in to do struts and a bump stop kit. I heard the GT500s get rid of the creaking. Can someone clarify?

And sorry to nija the thread I would buy these but was waiting to do several parts at once.

Correct. You will have to get 05-10 shocks for the GT500 mounts to work. Best to upgrade all at once

Ya that is why I am not buying anything right now till I have the cash to get it all. I would be too tempted to tear something down just to put one part on.
