Here is my old STi that ran a 7.9. Here is an 8.0 run. Launched right I'd see a 1.4 60ft on street tires. About rip your stomach out.

Best 1/8th mile time on drag radials in my 3v:
RT is bad cuz it was a solo run. Fastest time in the 1/4 was 12.8 @ 114 mph on street tires. Haven't been back on the 1/4 since I got DR's.

i run a 9.0 in the 1/8th mile bone stock at ennis the same day i bought the car. had problems launching the car i know its way faster than the numbers i put up. havent run it since upgrades have jlt cold air intake, bama tune, flowmaster mufflers and ford racing drop springs. i launch the car off idle other wise it just spins any pointers or should i just get better and wider tires 245/45 19 what a joke what was ford thinking 400 plus hp and pizza cutter tires lol

Hot damn, I fell into the sandbox. My wife's stock 2000 C5 ran a best of 8.10@89 on 20s... Looks like I've got about 20 people to race if anyone is up for it... . I prefer 20,30,40 to whatever rolls than to launch a stick vette at the track and either smoke the clutch or break a halfshaft.

So you need a special race just for you because Obama Motors stuck a half ass rear end in their flagship car? Gotcha.

Thought that was rhetorical because GM's suck; but yes, you know I can launch a car on pretty much any tire, BUT at what cost to tear the damn car apart to do it.. Clutch jobs on Vettes are near 2 grand, not an easy swap in the garage like a Stang...
Since it's my wife's baby, I chose not to break anything. It's good to go all day from a slow roll though...
I still think we should run, Don got me by a car to 135ish... I found a cam I really want to throw in it though. (Same one Will has).

New times from 10/5/12... 8.07, 8.15, 8.09 with x pipe and performance tune. Ran 8.08 on first and only pass with race tune before the track closed. I'll get the timeslips up later. Best 60 ft was a 1.95.

Ya'll need to step it up a little bit I'm hitting 7.70's now, with 3.55's and a jacked up tune (promise to get it to TS soon to get it looked at).
