I have seen similar projects on a corvette where the front shows it to be a newer body style but when looking at the rear of the car it shows you the classic look and vice versa. Do a Resto-mod the correct way. Take a complete roller car that's just a body and frame, and go from there. I've much rather have an original body, or reproduction body, and have to spend the time to make the interior fit rather than make the exterior fit.

It's an allusion. The rear fenders aren't as big as they should be.
