Default Hi from McKinney

Hey everyone!

Glad to find a more locally focused site devoted to Mustangs! Anyway I'm Michael. My wife and I just picked up our 2013 GT in Deep Impact Blue. She's got just over 1,500 miles now. We special ordered it with lots of electroncics and creature comforts (Premium, Auto, Heated Seats, electronics package, and rear cam/reverse sensor.) It'll eventually be our daily driver, but she's too new to suffer parking lots. That's what our other vehicle 2006 Nissan Xterra 4x4 is for.

Previous vehicles:
2004 Ford Ranger 4.0l
2003 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0l
1993 Ford Mustang 2.3l hatch

Mods thus far:
Tint.
JLT Passenger oil catch can.

Next items:
Hood Struts
Exhaust

Would love to hear ya'lls exhaust to make a more educated decision.

Welcome Michael! What part of town are you in?

As for exhaust, listen to as many combos as you can and get what you like. You'll get a different opinion from everyone because there are so many options to go with and it comes down to personal preference.

Welcome to the site!

Welcome fella DIB owner! Sounds like I have some competition in the most miles in a year contest. Lol. I've had mine just over 4 months and 9200 miles.

I too have GT500 axle backs. For the price and the fact it's an OE Ford designed parts, they have a great sound that is hard to past up, not to mention a little bigger tip to fill up that rear cutout. There is no drone, at all, which I think is a must for a DD. I also liked the Borla S-Type exhaust when I was shopping, but to make the exhaust note worthwhile, expect to drop $1k on the entire cat-back system.

Man that '94 hatch with a 2.3L must be a one of a kind mustang.
