Default Mustang clutch fork installation (79-04)

When installing a new clutch in your Mustang, don’t forget to replace the other commonly worn and overlooked parts such as clutch forks, pivot studs and clutch cables. These parts are critical to proper performance of your drivetrain. Too often these parts are not replaced or installed incorrectly. Either of these conditions can lead to major headaches and costly future repairs.

Improperly installed clutch accessories can lead to damaged parts or worse, a damaged transmission. Follow along in this video as Jmac shows you how to install a clutch fork and its attaching accessories such as a throwout release bearing. He will also cover how and where to put grease on the clutch fork.
