Default Grind hard into 2nd

Anyone have this issue? Under hard accel and clutch fully engaged I ground the shit out of 2nd. Dont know what I could've done to do that, I know I shifted like I always do.

Default Grind hard into 2nd

Sometimes I've found that the shift gates just don't want to open enough for hard shifting. I've done 3rd a few times. Clutch fully engaged and it just wouldn't go it.

I have had that happen a couple times going 1 - 2 and 2 - 3. Glad to know I am not the ONLY person who has had this problem!

I have also experienced the fun of doing a short run, then at idle the shift gates are also stubborn.

Is there a fix for this? New shifter? Different fluid?

My car has done this for the second time. There aren't any other people that have experienced grinding into second with clutch the floor? I'm ready to take it in. What's the likelihood of me getting shit about my MGW? Lol.

I have it happen a decent amount 1-2 then jew'd going into to third.. When I get the time to remove some stuff ill take it in. Mine has done this for about 7 months, and it is still somewhat intermittent.

When it's reproduceable I will take it in. I've read on several site they wont give me hell about a short throw. Ive been told if Im denied service at a dealer for Bolt ons and complain to ford they will usually change their tune

Any recommendations on where to take the car where they wont say an engineer will come and void my warranty? Thats what the manager told me. He said take it to another dealer with the stock shifter on.

I don't usually rip it up to redline in 1st gear but when I have it has never given me an issue with shifting into 2nd. Gear box is as smooth as could be. I'm at 17k miles now.

Curious if the dealer was able to help you fix this issue?
