Default GT500 strut mounts

Ok put a whole new suspension on my car last week and didn't end up needing these GT500 strut mounts as planned. They are brand new in the box from LRS where I paid $109 last week. $100 obo somebody needs them....

My eibach struts were for 11 and up and didn't require the GT500 mounts, they actually weren't compatible

Oh, in that case understandable, but I've heard reusing the already used stock style mounts could end up being a pain.

Yeah only if they seperate and the needle bearings fall out.

Hopefully they hold up great for you. Mine started making popping noises when I reinstalled them. We didn't lose and bearings, but they did start to come apart.

When ordering lowering springs...how do you know if you need GT500 or stock style mounts? When we lowered my wife's 2009 with Ford Lowering springs years ago we used the stock mounts and had no issues. I think the car had around 40k miles on it.

Ok so if you are just replacing springs you are fine? I plan to do Steeda Sport springs and keep the shocks and struts stock.

You are fine. But I would recommend getting a new set of stock strut mounts just in case the ones on the car fall apart and/or lose some bearings.

And if your going to buy some extra stock might as well upgrade to the GT500 mounts

Funny...I see the user name: IHateThisSite and I have absolutely no question as to who that is. Especially, when his only punctuation is "..." After every few words. Lol

IIRC, the GT500 mounts won't work with 11-13 style struts because the piston shaft diameter is slightly different.
