Default 3/2 - ECR Open Track Day - Learn to Road Race

I went to the last one and it was a blast! Just passing the info forward.

**OPEN FREE TRACK DAY AT EAGLES CANYON RACEWAY**

On 3/2/13 we will be hosting a FREE track day experience at Eagles Canyon Raceway, directly after Cars and Coffee. The track day will consist of lead and follow groups. We will be hosting open "sporty" street cars to full race cars from 11AM until dark on Saturday.

This is a FREE chance to explore the track, get a feel for what road racing is all about. We are allowing sports to sporty type cars, street cars to full blown race cars, to get out on track behind a pace car to engage in some high-level touring around the track. A possible full open "hot" track session for full race cars might take place, as well, this is also a Eagles Canyon Raceway member day, so you'll see some cars in action throughout the day

We will have classroom time in the clubhouse before each session to explain everything to you, as well as the ECR grill fired up! We'll call it "Cars and Lunch, at ECR".

So come out, spectate, join in, enjoy the afternoon!

Which is great for a track car taking a lot of driver error out of the equation.

I would love to do this, but my windshield has a crack in it. Wonder how serious that rule is.

IIRC this was one of the later sessions. They got faster and faster each time as the slower people bailed for the day:

I'm going to see about getting the day off work. Might as well wear out these brakes before the brembos go on
