Unfortunately, I've been trying to get the car tuned for E85 for quite sometime now and it's been hard for Kevin and I to get it scheduled. You completely missed the point of my statement. I never said that the set up wasnt good or ineffiecient, in fact i didnt say anything negative about it at all. I said it was too far for me. Anything breaks on that set up and its very expensive and 1000rw cars break shit..alot of shit. If i had something like that and broke it, it would be broken awhile and sitting. Thats not fun at all. Price out the equation, I think Wills car now is more streetable than it was... it obviously costs more because its a huge alteration but it is quiter and more docile, much better mpg etc.

In 11 years, there has only been one other fight there and it happened while I was on my way to the meet. I've had a few close ones but always been able to defuse the situation. I worked hard on that meet for many years getting the word out and having to babysit it. The meet is well established now, I don't have to do much anymore thankfully, hell I don't even have to be there every week anymore like I used to be.

As for the armbar jokes, it's all good. I'm used to it now. Just don't make the mistake of mistaking kindness for weakness just because I'm mellowing out in my old age. haha.

A lot of it comes from you can roll race anywhere pretty easily. Finding a place for dead stop not so much. Since it's easier to roll race, most cars get set up that way now which is why you are seeing less and less of it.

Going to the track is an all night deal. Drive an hour to the track, sit in line all night to maybe get two or three runs on what is hopefully a good surface. To a lot of people, it's just not worth it to go to the track anymore, at least not a regular basis.

Still think your car would be very competitive. Just run 30-130 or something more favorable for ur car. My c6 was geared out at 142... i always ran 40 or 50 to 140. got plenty of races...

He said it was getting too crowded, to many young people doing stupid stuff, police watching it more closely, and something about too many crotch rockets...
