Friday night meet - Coit and 190

I know most of you haven't been around long enough to know about this meet. But this meet was ongoing for many years and was one of the best GTG's in DFW for a long time. Good people and lots of fun with some badass cars. (bring your A game lol)

Well, there is some people wanting to bring the meet back for the spring/summer of 2013.

Will someone please post this on the Facebook group as well. :)

Don't think I am pushing enough power for that, less you are joking around cause it lost. If that's the case, she knows she went up against a heads n cam z06. Was a good loss for sure. He was pushing a little over 540 to the wheels I'm sitting at 527. I think on the best run for me he got a car length, the other two were 2 or 3 on me. Pretty happy with those results haha:derp:

His car was sick and loud, every time he went to 3rd he would just pull on me like a freight train. Nathan left the window down once when he was on my passenger side, said he almost went deaf hahaha.

no, it was 2-3 lengths before shut down. The vid above may be the first run on our second pass which was 4 lengths or so, he was able to get the hit since he had trouble hearing the horn on the runs before that. The red grand sport did football fields though lol...

To add to that, I think a lot of the old schoolers are tired of breaking shit and their cars being down all the time. I totally agree with that as well... That said, my car has been down more than ANYone's and when it's running, I will be out having fun with it... win or lose. Prob more lose than win, but it will be fun trying!

Yea Zeek's name is Dan, tall kid with the baby (Grabber) Blue 5.0. It runs a lot better than I expected too. Greg's car has no mods that I know of besides suspension and mufflers... Thats awesome he gave you a good race.

For almost the first year I owned the car, I never once turned the traction control off because I didn't race or drive the car hard at all. So it's not a habit for me to turn it off when I start the car and drive off. It happened, not an exuse. I lost another race...woohoo, what a surprise. It's a slow POS, another surprise. He didn't like the GTS at all because it was a raggedy POS. The 08 Viper he has now is far more improved over the older cars. The 08's and up are pretty damn fast stock running high 10's in stock form. Depending on how you look at it if it's good or bad, there isn't much that can be done to them in regards to tuning them without a $15k Motec system. He's got so many other projects going on he isn't interested in dropping that kinda money on it.

Besides, he's having much more fun with it at it's current power level because he is able to get so many races with it. It's his "sandbox" car, if you will. lol.
