Eagles Canyon Raceway and Sam Pack Ford will be hosting a Open Track on March 23rd. If you have ever wanted to know what it is like to drive your car on a real road course racetrack, here is your chance to experience one of the great thrills in life.

We will have multiple levels of drivers so whether you are a beginner or an advanced track rat this is a great event

WHO: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced
WHERE: Eagles Canyon Raceway, 7629 N FM 51, Decatur, TX
WHEN: March 23rd - 8am to 5pm
COST: $150 for the entire day

SAM PACK FORD has graciously sponsored the day and will be providing FREE LUNCH for all participants

INSTRUCTORS will be available for all Beginners and anyone else that needs a little help.

Typically you will get five 20 minute sessions throughout the day followed by classroom time to discuss the track and how to help you improve your driver skills.

I am still undecided, I think I am going to do another free session first. I also don't have a helmet yet, had to borrow one to do a ride along with Brian in the yellow boss last time.

The in car instruction you'll receive will eliminate doubt and increase drivers confidence.
I told many people many times, I feel more comfortable doing 130+mph on the back straight in traffic then 65mph on I75

registration and payment is open now

We have already secured 17 instructors for the event.
and this time the instructors are going to be in the car with you every session

Novice drivers will LEARN a lot of about car control, braking zones and cornering.

In my past life I was a go-to-the (drag) track every weekend kind of guy. But after one trip to ECR I'm converted _ it truly is a blast. The week after ECR I ordered sways, koni yellows, and camber plates! And I'm sure that's just the beginning. Ironic how my Mustang got me involved in this..

We have about 40+++ drivers signed so far.
I expect more are processing their paperwork today/tomorrow

This is a great deal @ $150 -- I just found out there is a another event (at another track) this weekend that costs over double...

If you are going and have never been to a paid event at ECR, please make sure you fill out the track day application along with your payment. We are looking forward to seeing you out there.
