Uh, no you didn't. I ran a 12.50 bud and that was missing 4th. I also went 8.0 which you didn't even come close too.You only won that race cuz i was asleep at the wheel.
My first pass I ran a 12.68 right off the highway while you were moping around running mid 13's needing Ryan to pinch drive for you and he went 12.57 in your own car! lol.

When you went 8.0 he went 8.1 so that's pretty damn close. I know this cause Nic text me the time slip.

Which is great for a track car taking a lot of driver error out of the equation.

Sounds like y'all had fun. I'll try and catch up with y'all next time. I'm kinda suprised the weather held. It was kinda cold and misty here in Allen Friday night.

It was great. We practically had the track all to ourselves. It was cold but the mist didn't start falling until 10pm or so. It was still fun though. I look forward to the next group track night.

My best et has been a 12.36, so I'm sure I'll have my hands full with some of you 6MT cars. Unless I get my upgrades installed before the next one! Still haven't ordered yet.

Makes sense, plus not a lot of sidewall. I won't go without some 15" on DR's, maybe I'll be a little faster than expected. That's a damn good time for stock with some tires though. It took my auto a tune and O/R x-pipe to run that.

Stock Boss lol. I was disappointed actually. I should be running 12.2, but everyone was about 2 1/10ths off.

I agree. I'm sure the mist and cold pavement had plenty to do with that. But it was fun still and your Boss looked great going down the track! Nice to see one being used for a change rather only leaving the house for cars and coffee. lol.

I had fun but the mist kept me from getting in the 12's. 13.03 was my best with a2.15 60ft. First couple of passes I didn't have the traction control off correctly. I think it will run some 12.80s on stock 19s. I guess for a car with less than 400 miles on it it did ok. Every pass was faster than the previous. I was slightly disappointed that the mist came when it did. The car had a 12 in it next pass.

On the MT-82, fourth gear is 1.32:1 and fifth gear is 1:1.
So fourth gear on the new cars is just like running around in third gear on an old T-5 (1.34:1). When you figure that all Bosses come with 3.73s and the Laguna Seca has ~27" tall rear tires (285/35-19), you can see why he would need to shift to fifth for the quarter mile, even with the Boss intake/heads/rev limiter. He's trapping over 91 in the eighth so he should be around 116 in the quarter, but fourth gear won't take it all the way there.
Or switch to some 28.5" tall tires like I did and keep it in fourth.
Great job Matt! I still can't believe it was hooking like that!
