I think the best I have found so far for good traction and for mileage/ride quality is right at 35psi for me.

I run 20-25 lbs on the street and 13-15psi on the track.

I need to start looking for a set of drag tires just for once every so often I get the urge to go straight. What would be some decent tires for a slow V6? I would like to break into the 12's if possible. I thnk I can if I have "slicks"....

Did they wear down pretty quickly at the 20-25?

Depends on wheel width and which DR. I've had em all besides Toyos and Goodyears.
On average I ran em at about 28-30 cold. If I was going to race at the track I ran 16-18 hot, and on freeway, usually 24-26 hot. Didn't like the squishy feel haulin ass on the street, plus the launch is a lot less aggressive.

Steve, you've got the same tire I do. Run them at 30-32 on the street and 26-28 at the track. Not that this is an impressive 60' or anything, but they ARE 20s. lol

a 1.8 60' time on 20's is pretty damn impressive. I have never gotten better than a 2.0 with my 20's on.

They wear down quickly no matter what pressure you run.

My uncle just got a set of those in 305/35-20 and they are incredible. It changed his whole driving style. He cut a 1.80 on them the day he got them but is convinced he can knock off another tenth by being more aggressive. I think he could knock off two tenths, they really are that sticky.
They sure are soft though!!
