A few guys went to kennedale today and it was a good time. Made about 10 runs and my best was 8.3 at 88mph. need to work on my launching but thats just with practice.

8.3 is a good starting point. Danny is going 7.9's with nothing more than an axleback. So you've got some room to go there, Nick!

Actually, 7.92 with nothing at all but Sportlines and 20" drag radials. I've got GT500 mufflers and Boss quad exhaust now, I'm sure it will go deep 5s with all the noise it makes.

My first pass in the car was an 8.09, lol... you young guys are so cute.

Yeah, they are funny. They just throw more power at it instead of learning to really drive it properly. Eventually they will get it, we did, just didn't take us as long. lmao!

Maybe one day you old guys can come out to a real racetrack and see how to really drive a car.... Anyone can go straight. Hit that 120mph in a 1/4 mile then throw it into a tight 160 degree turn and lets see who can drive. lol

Yeah, sure. I've heard all that shit before. If you've ever spent time around real race cars and real racers, you start to see that people that can't even drag race DAMN SURE can't drive on a road course.

I cut my teeth on turbo shitboxes a thousand years ago, so save the crap for someone else.

I didn't. I was on BFG street tires, decided I would go make 1 pass and then the GT-R in front of me laid an oil slick down the track. Waited 15 minutes for a clean up and decided it probably wasn't a good idea to take 800 rw down the track pedaling and risk hitting oil, so I backed out and parked.
