405hp vs 400ish HP ... 3100lbs vs 3800 lbs ... Hmmm .. Stock for stock still a bad match up IMO ...

Maybe a full bolt on with a descent driver ... That 600+lb gap and the fact that the vette comes with much better tires and wheels ... Just not a stock for stock race..

You guys are kinda missing the inside joke here. Will and I have been racing together for years. Going back to slow stock cars for racing is kinda funny to us. lol.

Thats because all the sorta fast and really fast cars owner's are too scared to race anymore for fear of losing.

when I met Will, didnt know him from ANYONE, he shook my hand and said "you wanna race?" I said "race what?" He points at a stock looking Gixxer 1K and I said "lets do it." I didnt go oh, well shoot, I might lose, or what's done to it, or man I dunno, how fast have you gone etc. Didnt care. Not enough "dont care" these days. Cars cost too much I guess no one wants to regret wasting all their money and getting beat.

To add to that, I think a lot of the old schoolers are tired of breaking shit and their cars being down all the time. It's nice to have a slower car that starts everytime you want it to and not have to worry everytime you step on the gas if its going to break or not. Throwing that money away gets old after awhile.

I totally agree with that as well... That said, my car has been down more than ANYone's and when it's running, I will be out having fun with it... win or lose. Prob more lose than win, but it will be fun trying!

I think you should plan on putting an auto in that thing. Because by the time you finally get it back on the road you're going to be too old to row gears.

My car hasn't stopped working yet, even with the racing... Then again im not launching the MT82 or power shifting (Beau) haha. On a side note, it was stupid of me to race that c6z, i have til June 10th to not get another traffic ticket and i dont really want to pay the double fine if i do. Ill prolly be out there tomorrow as a spectator.

Wasn't that from racing down the same stretch of road for miles?
