No my first reaction, was wow my car got keyed, I am so tired from being in the hospital I need to sleep. Next day is not the reaction from the movie "taken" but if I can get this guy convicted, he gets the felony around his neck for the REST of his misereable life. Can't vote, can't legally own guns. A life of shit can jobs.
Yes I have a real good idea of who this was and I am going to make a project of him. Already have a reward on this jerk.

X2 that is probably $500 to $700 in repairs. I think $1000 would be extreme, I just don't see $1500

Based on past experience, I have little faith in the justice system. I feel they try just as hard making the vicitim a suspect as they do pursuing the actual suspect. That could be considered retaliation as well if they found a motive or found out the guy actually did it.
