I definitely noticed a huge difference in the way the gears wind out going from my 5 speed 01 to my 6 speed 12. I thought I had 3:73s it seemed so much quicker.

yes sir, they are heavy... IRS is about +100-120 lbs of it, the block is a tad heavier, the blower, intercooler, etc etc... It was a heavy pig imo, but the car felt smaller and handled it's weight well... It was a fun car, I just hated the gd engine in it. Too wimpy and delicate (dont shift to fifth it could blow up, dont get it hot, pull timing after half a pull at the track) bullshit this and bullshit that... my Windsor let me kick it in the nuts every time I drove it and it got faster every month... not the same can be said with the delicate 4.slow motor... lol Miss the car, wish I had money to keep it and put a 440 inch F1 powered powerplant in it... that woulda been nice.

I wouldn't mind racing a 5.0 or anyone for that matter been so long... However I would need to somewhat learn to drive again. First time driving car in like 4 months or more
