66 Fairlane vs. 67 Galaxie
Sorry, not a race, but I'm thinking about getting rid of my Bronco since I have no use for it and picking up either a 66 Fairlane or a 67 Galaxie. Won't be buying to race, just as a nice backup/Saturday car. Which would you guys choose? And if anyone knows of anyone looking for a 4x4 toy send em my way!
My bronco...

67 Galaxie

I could look at pictures of both body styles all day and still never decide. I've found that the Galaxies are a little cheaper though, not sure about the resto parts.

Galaxy hands down. Big enough car you can take friends with you, and they still have sexy styling. My aunt has a '65 she is working on now, needs some love, but still looks great

Yeah I like that it's so big, could fit plenty of people comfortably. I have a feeling that it'll just come down to what's available when I'm ready. I have a little work I want to do to the Bronco before I actually post it for sale anywhere. I need to finish the tune for it, I converted it to mass air when I rebuilt the motor.

Oh, and no luck with the fog light diagram, my buddy gave me his login info but I still couldn't access it. It keeps slipping my mind. He's got my wife's car right now, I'll get her to get a copy of the book diagram while she's there.

Either the Galaxy or or the Fairlane. Both can be really sexy if done right.

Fairlane, takes a lot more work to get a Galaxie to look that good if your just looking for a cruiser.

If I find one I'm sure it'll be rough for a while. I'm in no hurry though, just an idea I'm kicking around.

Fairlane will be cheaper to build / find nice parts for, and will be worth more in the end. You better like the Galaxie because no one is looking for them.
If it were me, I'd add a Comet to your list!

Yeah I've been looking into parts availability too, and as for resale I know I would't make near my money back anyway so it wasn't a huge deal breaker. That second picture reminds me of when I used to want to build a Falcon gasser. These days I want to be able to fit a few people in it if need be and go for a cruise.
