Hmm.
I raced a stock GT-R when I was making around 430rw and he beat me pretty easily.

From stand still those cars are monsters, I know it wouldn't be any competition. On the freeway I didn't think the GTR had a big advantage. Of course a huge caveat to my story is that the driver of the GTR might not wanted to have been to aggressive.

Not for any of us! LOL! He was up there today while I was dropping my car off. That damn car is just plain bad ass. Even smells good while it's running.

This. I've raced them at the strip and on the highway and had my ass handed to me each time. Those cars are quick and fast.

The GT-R has one of the quickest 60-130 times ever recorded, just 3.1 seconds. You really think they don't have an advantage from a roll?

I'm just relaying my one time encounter, per the thread. The GTR and I was on an empty freeway starting about 60 going to 100. For whatever reason he just stayed behind me. I assumed if his car was so much faster he would've blown my doors off. For whatever reason he trailed me up to 100. Again, I realize for whatever reason, he/she may not have wanted to give it all the GTR has.

Although I don't know why he would have bothered to go up to 100? Probably just fucking with me.

He might not wanted to have risked having to replace the ridiculously expensive transmission. That would describe the majority of GT-R owners I have met. For every one that is willing to beat on it, there are 10 who will never take it to redline even once.

While then, there you go. Ford wins, what good is a fast car if you can't risk being fast? Guess the 5.0 is faster!

LOL, I'm still babying mine. I rarely get on mine, but of course my little girl is with me most of the time so I can't. It's slow, I know it ,so there is no point in beating on it until I can mod it up. I STILL haven't turned the traction control off yet. hahaha.

Haha. The first thing I do is turn off the traction control each day, I rationalize it by telling myself it saves the rear brake. This is my first sports car and I don't have any children yet so I can't resist.

When I had my 03 Cobra (made right about 500rw) I raced a GTR on the highway, pretty much a driver's race, it was very even. Not sure if it was stock, but wouldn't be surprised.
