Did you get a kit for the fog halos? If so, where? First ones I've seen that dont look tradersvillageish.

If you wouldn't mind, could you explain the process used in the third picture? Just wondering if it is a single photo or if it is a composite? I love the pictures with the brake lights lighting up a wall but I feel like with a single photo it would wash out the actual car. I want to try to do a photo like this at some point but I don't know how to approach it.

You are asking a master to explain his ways. Good luck. LOL
I'm sure it's a multiple exposure composition, in which he will turn on the lights in the second one so nothing is washed out in the car when adjusting the exposure to capture more light.

I figured it was that sort of process. Guess I'll have to test out some various methods myself. Granted, I likely don't have good enough lighting equipment but gotta start somewhere.

American Muscle, 129.00 for the set. Ryan (03machme) and I were wondering if they were from traders village when we put the first set on. They didn't work and were broken. The second set they sent wwas rock solid! I get alot of compliments on them, and get alot of people flashing brights at me. They're bright at night.

I can explain and don't mind doing so. Always willing to help. As DirtyD explained below, they are multiple exposures but you have to time it just right. On those light painted images they're close to 10 exposures layered in photoshop and a ton of masking. But we all know black cars shot outside of a studio with a $10,000.00 chimera light are impossible to pull off. So they either need to be light painted or shot in natural light with multiple exposures and a good CPLl filter.

LOL, those were shot with a $29.00 LED light from Amazon. It's not the equipment, it's the person behind the camera. I could get the same results with a Canon Rebel and an Iphone LED. and some photoshop magic.
Hell this ST interior was shot in a dealership parking lot with my iphone 5

Thanks for the little write up man! I gotta say, you are definitely talented with the camera and editing. I'm jealous! Car and photos look stunning.
