Finally took my car in for the tranny whine. It was gettin ridiculous. Any idea on what it probably is? I also got a Hyundai accent rental! Boo yah!

The problem is that it's an mt-82 and they are outsourced using the cheapest labor and materials possible.

Mines at Blake utter ford in Sherman. I had the cert pre owned warranty. It's all covered.

I didn't get a rental dammit. And they said they are a week behind schedule so they will prob look at mine Friday or so. I'm thinking I prob won't get my car back till next year

Are they still going to fix it under the warranty with the tune you have?

I'm pretty sure they are. They haven't looked at the vehicle yet but I'm gonna pissed of they deny transmission work because I have a tune

Trans is out. Input shaft bearing they think might be the culprit. Maybe. Rental was covered under my cert pre-owned warranty.

at idle i hear a whine with the trans in neutral and clutch released. when i push the clutch the whine goes away. i also have a whine in 1st-3rd gear. this the same as yours?

No mine just whines in gears 1-4. 5 and 6 are fine. Some of yours sounds like a throw out bearing. Update on mine trans is out and tire apart. Waiting on parts.
