Carbon Fiber Everything
What parts are made from carbon fiber that can be installed on our cars? Body parts obviously but I'm more talking things like the drive-shaft, clutch, anything suspension related, etc. How much lighter than stock and who and where would you get them? I know price isn't going to be cheap I'm just wondering for future reference.

Wheels, tires, steeda has lightweight springs, CF drive shaft, remove seats, lightweight flywheel, tubular front bumper thing, sway bar delete. That's all I can think offa the top of my head. Spare wheel removal with carpet off with the heat shield under the hood.

Backseat delete, spare, and passenger will get you close to 100lbs.

Some things should not be made from CF since it does not bend or collapse at failure, but rather abruptly breaks/snaps.

It's lightweight and as opposed to removing my back seats I could just get lighter components to reduce weight. Not sure how practical it is though because I know CF can get expensive...

First, I'd go with a cf hood to reduce weight up front for better weight distribution. DOHC definitely going to make the car top heavy. I believe you can get a cf driveshaft from americanmuscle.com. I got their new catalog yesterday and they also have an aluminum single piece shaft that is supposedly stronger than stock and 20lbs lighter.

Carbon fiber driveshaft is the extent I'd go with carbon fiber. Wanna lose weight. Tubular k member light car 30-40lbs in front. Tubular arms are a great as well. Get light weigh aluminum wheels bbs sells some that weigh 22lbs. Don't waste money on carbon fiber. You wanna think safe and reliability.
