Rear Deck rattle
Any one on here ever have a rattle coming from the rear deck/back window at certain rpms. It gets really bad in 3rd around 3700rpm for me. I have aftermarket exhausts which are just a bit louder than stock. The sound seems to be associated with the exhaust noise at certain frequencies. Pretty sure its not coming from the license plate or exhausts themselves. If you have and you fixed it, how'd you fix it? Sounds like the rattle of a loose bolt or something like that.

If you're right about the location it's coming from it's not the exhaust, although the exhaust note may be causing the extra vibration. The quarter window sheet metal rattles there, it's a common problem. I linked it a while back when someone asked, I'll see if I can find it again.

Here it is. I talked to my buddy at Ford about this a while back and it is common, he also said they will fix it under warranty if you're still covered. I would advise you to let them know about the fix in the link just in case they aren't aware. it would suck to send your car in just to get it back with the same problem. Good luck.
Mods, maybe a sticky on this problem? It's been mentioned a few times now.

Let me know which way y'all go with the repair and how it works out. I still need to take mine in, just been out of the country.

I have this same problem. I posted a video on the FB page. Mine rattles / buzzes at about the same RPMS you mentioned. Sounds like its coming from the right quarter panel as mentioned. I will be taking my car in to get this fixed as well, just need to find time to do so.

I had a similar issue but just to clarify, mine was not RPM dependent and sounded like a loose nut that was about to fall off of something! Very noticeable. Turned out it was the passenger side adjustment nut on my adjustable panhard bar. Just throwing this out there in case it can help anyone else. It haunted me for a while before I figured out what it was.
