Attempted to install today by removing my airaid box first to wrap. Found out quickly that the hp shield will not stick for shit to plastic. I ended up giving up and reinstalled without the shield....

After seeing this, I ordered heatshield hp mat from auto anything, $46 shipped and enough to wrap the bottom of my stock intake manifold and my airraid box. It looks to be the same material...

Agreed, I plugged the holes on my GTO as well. Spoiler delete is the only way to go.

Actually no, my car came with the gtcs spoiler as a dealer add on, and I hate it. I would prefer a spoiler delete trunk. I can't replace the spoiler because of the extra holes for the gtcs spoiler. ...
