Sync and Iphone Music?????
Is there a way to listen to music on your Iphone through the bluetooth?
On my wife's F150, If my Iphone is connected via the Sync bluetooth, then it will play my music. This is the same for any other bluetooth vehicle I have had. However, in my Mustang, I must plug in the phone into the USB port in order to play the music. |
Mine works through Bluetooth

I've never tried to play my phone music through SYNC, but then again, I have no music on my phone. Pandora works fine through Bluetooth.
However, I have tried to play other media through SYNC, in which my phone shows that SYNC is connected as the audio output, but nothing comes through the speakers. Have you tried resyncing your phone? |

What do you do to make it play? When I scroll through media it goes to Sync Line In.. which works when plugged into the USB. However, I never get the option of bluetooth. |
Have you read through the user's guide on how to use SYNC? Not trying to sound like a jerk, but it explains how to use mobile app in there.

I stream Pandora and Amazon Mp3 player through bluetooth audio and now have a 32G USB thumb drive full of music. It's awesome that I don't have to clutter up my console with CD's anymore! :D

You may need to initially launch the itunes application on the iphone and "play" the music to get it going. The volume could be turned way down too so check that. My phone (non iphone) had to turn up the volume on the receiver separately from the main car stereo volume.
If you hook it up through the USB connection, then you get better music searching capabilities and don't have to worry about any bluetooth lag or gremlins. And a charge! |

Using the voice command worked. Thanks.
