Faded windshield Cowl Restored!
So I had some time on the holiday break to do some work on my faded windshield cowl. I used Cquartz Dlux which is a semi permanent coating that last up to a year. I have already used this on the window sills and the black plastic roof rails going on 6 months now and they still look like new.
I recommend using this on new or faded trim to protect it from the elements. This is how badly faded it was before I cleaned it and applied Dlux. http://dfw50s.com/picture.php?albumid=100&pictureid=487 Here is the right side coated with Dlux. http://dfw50s.com/picture.php?albumid=100&pictureid=488 This is how it looks in the sun done completely. http://dfw50s.com/picture.php?albumid=100&pictureid=489 |

For the most part. The prep takes the longest. Wash, scrub then wipe down with Carpro eraser to make sure it is super clean before coating with Dlux.

Just me or are there no pictures?
