Finally wart free!
Finally decided that I can't stand the faux gas cap anymore and went with a RTR panel. The fit and finish is outstanding and I should have done that a long time ago.
FWIW, the wart definitely wasn't round. After cutting it with a 5" hole saw, I have to trim off the rest of the wart with a Dremel and a cutting disk. The rest of the install was a simply peel and stick. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/c...psa52683d4.jpg http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/c...ps5c3987ce.png http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/c...ps2df77a48.png http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/c...ps41d9bb35.jpg http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/c...psc3bb5b9f.jpg |
I just dont know if i like it. Its def cleaner but it seems to make the tailouts stick out...

I like it. Sucks you have to cut into the actual metal to make this work but definitely looks better. I'd add something minor like an offset "GT" decal or something.

Looks great man. Love the whole package

I like it, great work! I think a GT logo like Dominic Toretto had mentioned could really set it off. But I dig the clean look as well. Never see any Mustangs like that.

Looks great!
BTW, what's in the bag??? :-) |
