ER Autocross #2 - Mineral Wells
No Mustang pics as we were all lumped together in the same run group, and I can't shoot and drive at the same time.
Bested a ZL-1, but not beating this Camaro. LOL. 900 hp twin turbo LS motor: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...psb2b142da.jpg Doesn't look like much here, but he's something like 8 or 9 time national champ: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...psaa9311eb.jpg Best looking Porsche, IMHO: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ps645a3f1d.jpg This car ripped, at least until he put down a big oil slick (ouch). Boost buggies are cool, but they go bang: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ps41d49214.jpg The rest: http://s34.photobucket.com/user/El_T...14%20Event%202 |
Good job on besting Brian. I was grouped with him Saturday. Cool guy and hopefully we will see him around more events. How'd the car feel?

I'll put up some of the in-car videos I took later and some of the pictures! It was definitely a blast. Much better than the other autocross I did with them in 2013. That porsche was indeed beautiful and it handled like a beast. The subbie was way too loud.
In the first 4 heats, Joe and I were carrying the novice group, but then gradually dropped. MUSTANGS FTW! Wish you guys stayed and we had some more 5.0 competition. |
Yeah, I wish I could've made it back out, but had other plans. Adam wouldn't have returned because his Konis took a shit on him Saturday afternoon.

I'd like to claim I have a lot of scene control, but the truth is that we both kind of give a little, get a little. |
