I like it! I really like it!!
If the auto trans can be built to reliably handle 800+ ft/lb then I could even see myself in an auto. |
do they all really list the HP/TQ figures in the car or is that a clever advertisement?
I think it looks pretty cool with the top down... It should just have no top...or a hard top. I dunno, the soft top, to me, kills the look of the car. |
Looks great with the top down!
But with the top up.......ehhhhhhhhhhhhh not so much. |
Man, I think I like it a lot

I would take it if someone gave it to me and trade it for the targa. Not a fan or convertibles at all. GM will sell more ZO6s with this option so it makes sense financially.

Correct me if I'm wrong. . (I'm sure you will) if you purchase va convertible for a track car... you need to install a roll bar or have a part of the car able to act as a roll bar. Or as some European cars have, deployable rods in the pillar behind the driver?
|
Fordplay, I am 99% sure, you are right. Rollbars need to be installed if they are not provided factory for track use on convertibles.

If I had the money I'd have one in a heartbeat. I'd probably pick this coupe but this one is awesome.

No f*ck GM posts yet? I'm impressed.

Every track event I've been in require convertibles to have a roll bar. Tech will even make some guys get in with there helmets on to ensure the bar goes high enough above their head to work. I like the top down on the Z06, but I like the coupe more.
