wheels with no tpms questions
I'm thinking about trading my stock wheels for some aftermarket wheels. The wheels I found do not have tpms sensors in them. How much of a pain is it to have a shop to install them?

It's about as big a deal as installing tire valve stems.
The 'big deal' is buying the damned things, then having them synched up to the car. If you search eBay, you can get a brand new set of TPMS for around $50. But if you buy a set from a tire store, it's $200-250. |
My Razors don't have the sensors. Never really bugged me enough to shell out the cash for them. Just a small light on the dash, hell, I don't even notice it anymore.

Speaking of which, does anyone have a sensor sync tool I can borrow? Located in uptown Dallas.

Just go to a Discount Tire. They will synch the sensors to the car for free.

Thanks boss. I will give that a shot.
