Man this whole deployment crap is really cramping my style! this MSC internet is garbage. Thankfully were in port for a few days so I can check in on the sites and see how everyones doin.

so whats new in DFW? im hoping to be back in TX in march for two weeks then Ill head back to Bahrain to check out and prepare to head to San Diego. I was hoping to score some orders to Fort Worth or back to Oklahoma. So much for that lol!

that's what everyone has told me! Im hoping the car scene is cool out there. ive heard good things about that as well.

No joke. I know this firsthand being a Cali native imported into Texas.

Id like to know where everyone gets their gd money out there. My dad used to fucken bank and we were always broke. It seems like everyone makes 7 figures a year by the way they live, I dont know wtf gives.

A $100k car doesn't seem so unreasonable when a shithole house will cost a million bucks.

No joke. A few years ago I visited some relatives for a week in LA and we went to the Hollywood and the also checked out the beach. I believe everyone there is a professional surgeon to be paying $3k a month for those one-bedroom places.

yea I priced out houses there. holy fucking unreasonable batman!! that's why my happy ass will retire in North Texas. Gods country!

We will be retiring somewhere tropical and where there is a lot less people like Kauai.

lol cali sucks for cars. C.A.R.B. blows. make sure you keep your car registered in TX and get it inspected the day before you leave. Dont listen to what everyone says. If you are living in california when your inspection goes out you are required to comply with california emissions. Iv been pulled over twice. once on post but the MP was a buddy of my buddy who is a MP so he let me go no issues. the other time was a CHP and he is the one who told me this stuff and gave me a warning for no inspection. If your car is registered in like lets say florida they wont mess with you since florida doesnt do emissions. but cali law is that you still have to comply with their emissions. its a little loop hole. most of SD that iv seen wasnt much to talk about but i didnt see it all. coronado island or how ever you spell it is pretty cool.

I am going to use my buddys address in Ok to keep the car registered there. there is no inspection there so I should be good to go.

Perfect decision. Best part will be making fun if your new friends who have Cali plates crying over inspections.
