Thoughts on Steeda CAI
I planned on staying with the factory intake, have someone at work who got a deal on procharger and is going to get rid of his steeda.
Is the steeda worth it? Helped a friend put one on his 12 awhile back, it was a damn puzzle to get together, but was a quality piece. Mods waiting to go on to my auto are X pipe and Injectors (going e85) and Kooks axle back. |
I have the steeda 101mm and I love it. Just something about hearing the air sucking through the intake. But you have to have a tune to use it.

Currently have 3" cat back with H pipe. Pypes "pype bomb" with mid mounted mufflers. But looking into deleting the cats here soon. As far as sound it's noticeable for sure. It's not turbo loud, but I can hear it suck air at every gear change like a monster taking a deep breath. Lol

With a tune, and if you can get it at a decent price, it is worth it if you are trying to squeeze a little extra power from the motor.

Thanks guys I will probably pick it up for the time being, Cant beat $100 for low mileage CAI.
Scoring deals lately...$120 Kooks axle back. ORX, Tuner, and Injectors plus cash for Brembo wheels, but the lottery hasn't panned out yet.... |

Went with a procharger and sold it, vowed myself on my next 5.0 to not get another CAI, instead bought a C5Z lol. |
