pop in front only when turning left
 

Hey guys just wanna see if anyone else has had this problem my car.only pops when turned full left at only 6k the shop put new strut mounts and that didn't fix it orderd a steering rack waiting to get it installed just wanna see if any one else has had this problem

Could be a bad strut, or when they replaced the strut mounts, they messed one up during the install, which isn't too hard to do. Not heard of too many issues with the steering rack.

Check your sway bar mounts and end links make sure they are tight. I have seen them loose many times and cause this same noise.

I had it done at the dealer I work for they had the sway bar links loose when they did strut mounts and one mount broke during install and they replaced it our front end tech and shop forman said the pop is in the center of the car and the sub frame has been retighten and yea I have not heard of any problems with the racks but we will see hopefully they get to it in the am

See someone else knows what I'm talking about. But generally if that's the problem it'll pop while suspension is going up and down, not turning. Also thelandshark there's a section form"suspension" that you should of posted this under :)

I've heard a few people experience it while turning, but it's typically low speed suspension compression (speed bumps) that most hear it.

Mines pops only when turning are siting still and turning to back in to my driveway and can feel it in the pedals

Sometimes when I go over speed bumps the front suspension will spring back really hard with a thump? Weird.

Had the rack replaced noise went away will be back in the shop at 10k for the control arms makeing noise on speed bumps

My control arms started making the noise the other day, planning on putting it in the shop next week. Sure is gonna suck driving around a rental Focus... lol

I have popping noises but pretty sure its all due to being lowered and re-using the strut mounts.

The mounts should be fine we reused oxfords an he has no noises
