Is 19x10 and 19x11 a bad idea?
19x10+35 front, 19x11+39 rear 2012 stock mustang
wheels are forgestar cf5v. Will they look good with that offset/size? |
I think i saw this post on another forum. Flush fitting Forgestars offsets for Mustangs run in the 50s or high 40s when they are 10 inchs or wider. AmericanMuscle.com would be a good reference site for forgestars
|
And that front offset is definitely iffy. These must be coming off a BMW or Z car?
|
the guy has them posted on ebay and that's the measurements he gave me. They were supposed to be off a camaro but searching thru camaro5 they say forgestars should be in the 45+ offset range.

i think mine are 40mm i believe |
I have f14s that size but custom ordered them for my car (before they were readily available from AM). That said I would recommend not running 19x11. Tire selection sucks. I'd go 18x11 or 20x11 if I had it to do over again.
Before sportlines (sorry if the pics are huge I'm on my phone.) http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...09/Resized.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...9/0fdb6fe2.jpg |
And FYI I don't think the camaro is the same bolt pattern as a mustang.

that's the only thing I do not like about them is that they are 19. |
mustang is 5 x 114.3

My 19X10 offset for the rears are 40+.

Those will work. Front is perfect, rear might stick outside the fender a bit.

always thought 19x10 for the front wouldn't fit based on more reading at mustang forums, they were saying it would rub on the inside with anything greater than a 275 width tire? |
I have 18x10.5 front and 18x11 rear CCW CA10s on my boss, I'm not sure what the offset is though, John at CCW just about has that stuff memorized if you call over there, and he can make anything you want.
I run a 315 hoosier on the rear. Its tight as hell but didn't rub with the stock PHB. |
