Additional lighting in trunk
 

Where would I be able to wire in additional lighting that is activated when the factory trunk light is activated? Should I just splice into the factory trunk light?

There is a small lip of sheet metal just under where the weatherstripping is where your could wire in some LED strips. I plan to do this fairly soon as there is usually something in the way of the trunk light.

I am also looking for a power source that is activated in parallel with the trunk light. I bought a four strip led kit for my old mustang from amazon that I'd recommend
