2013 Matte black roof vinyl installed
 

This is a X-post from afm but I figured y'all would appreciate it too. Been wanting to matte black the roof of my car for some time but have been debating pulling the trigger on a $125 vinyl from AM or have an installer do it for me locally for $200. Ended up buying a 5x7 square of 3m matte black for $45 and installed it with the help of my dad and brother. Took roughly 2 hours to get just right but for $45, that's not bad. Here are a few pics of it, not the best but will get better ones here soon.

I think next will be the MMD matte black taillight trim and the roush side splitters. Also installed the MGW shifter which is incredible of course. What do y'all think.

Where did you get the vinyl from? I want to do the same thing and I know vinyl can be had for less than what AM charges for the roof kit.

I like the roof. not a big fan of the rear decklid tho. everything else looks good. If you want the flat black look on the back check out Whitesides 2013 GT it has the whole rear section, tails and decklid, flat black and it looks sick. what I want to do eventually

How much would it be to cover the whole car in matte black?

matte spoiler, matte lid w/ P dipped gt. Looks good, and with all the others out there be creative!

Got the vinyl from a seller on eBay, less than $50 and have enough to do the roof easily.
