Here are the pics. The truck is at Bob tomes ford for repairs right now. It looks like it'll be about 9k so far in damages. It'll prob be closer to 15-20k by time it's all said and done. I'm heading to Moore this morning to see about getting the car and bringing it down here to get fixed as well. As I said in the other thread. The house is most likely a total loss.

Is that your place? Very unfortunate, was your family ok?

Holy shit man, glad you're ok. If there's anything like clothes or basic things you may need post it up. That picture of the room with the bunk beds hits me more than the rest, were y'all in the house at the time?

We have a lot of stuff coming into us right now so it looks like we're good in that respect. My wife and youngest locked the dogs in the bathroom and ran across the street to my neighbors shelter. My oldest was in school at plaza towers elementary and she's ok as well. I have spent 8 months boots on ground in Afghanistan and my 6 year old girl has seen more traumatic shit than I have. :( it breaks my heart hearing some of the stuff she says. I really want to hug her teacher when I see her. Rylee told me that she laid herself on top of her. That's a brave woman willing to sacrifice herself to save other people's children. I'm truly thankful that my whole family and my best friends (who lives right next door) family and animals all came out safely.

Damn, I can't say I know how you feel but after hearing about the storms heading toward DFW the day after I was pretty worried as well. I'm going on 11 months (off & on) in Iraq myself and have a 7 yo daughter who is terrified of storms.

Good to hear everyone is okay, thats the worst house I've seen that wasnt completely flattened.

Glad to hear your family is ok, sorry to hear about the house and vehicles. Has your family found somewhere to stay?

Well just got done at the house. I have a shit ton of pics. Best of all I'm driving my car! Small dents and some scratches! She's just filthy!
