Ethanol free gas? North burbs
I'm in the McKinney area and curious if anybody knows a good place to get true Ethanol free gasoline. I run premium gas, and currently just try to stick with bigger name stations (Shell / Chevron, etc). But each station is practically a franchise so I'm kind of doubtful brand loyalty. Any tips or tricks?
Found plenty of stupid links on google, but it's hit or miss and what hits looks dubious at best. http://buyrealgas.com/Texas.html http://pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=TX |
By brand or gas station doesn't matter too much when everyone fuel station in the DFW Metro area is forced to buy ethanol blend fuel.

lol, thanks Tortuga and DirtyD for the very link I posted in my first post... :) But sadly nothing close enough to make it worth while... :(

Yeah, I missed that. Haha

I personally prefer "High Ethanol" Gas!

I know a station or two in Oklahoma that has pure 91 octane. Which after reading up is supposed to be better then 93 blend? Not sure but whatever. On another note I know a station in dallas that sells 95 octane at the pump.

I'll stick with e-85.

Harry Hines. Get off 635 and harry hines, go south. Shell station on the right. 95 at the pump. Same price as 93.
|
How far south do you go? Are you talking about the one at Harry Hines and northwest hwy? Or the one by the Mexican tire shop?
|
Not sure. I know its like a mile or so south of 635.
