Nic and I were talking about maybe getting a DFW5.0s softball team together to play on Wed evenings. I know there is a league in Richardson we could play at but im open to sugestions. I would be happy to put it together / manage the team as long as I dont get a bunch of bitching from people because they are not batting where they want or the I will only play this positoin etc. We would prolly be a D league team and it would mostly be an excuse to get out, get moving, and have a few beers after the games. If you down to play reply and if we get enough people then we will start talking about positions batting order, etc. and yes it will be a D league team just for fun but I do not like to lose at anything so if your going to play at least take it seriously and try. I can understand if your just "not that athletic" as long as you are not just fucking off im good. so who is interested??

Damn, I am all over this....but that drive on a weekly basis after work......ehhh, maybe be the death of me.

Sounds like a good time. What time would practice be and what days would be the games? I have a kid in tball so I could only do it if it works around his schedule.

I would be interested. However, I travel for work during the week. So some weeks I wouldn't be able to make it.

Wouldn't mind hanging out and having a beer though.

Ok so yes or no Derek? And if yall can't make every week it is understandable. We all have lives and I don't expect this to be everyone's number one priority. Games would be on Wednesday and if we can practice on a Tuesday or Thursday or sat sun before 3 that would work for me. And you in or not Mr. Un athletic?

I could make a weekend practice, and probably the Wednesday games, depending on what time this happened. It will take me at least 1.5 hours to get to Richardson from Haltom City if I left from work...then another 45 mins to an hour home after the game.

I would LOVE to do this, but I can't play anymore. :(

That's fine. I would like to have 1 maybe the week before games start just to figure out positions and such
