Got a speeding ticket...
 

I was driving through Desoto this morning and saw a motorcycle cop with lights and siren going ride a wheelie and carry it through 2 gears across an intersection and off down Hampton RD. thought it was weird and wished I had my camera rolling.

Then about 2 miles away I exit I35 and as I'm coasting down the frontage road to the stoplight my radar goes off laser, and I knew I was F'd as I look down and see I'm still rolling about 55. Motorcycle cop pops out from behind bushes and is on me quick. He wrote me for 57 in 45 and told me I could get it deferred since I haven't had a ticket in 15 years. He actually asked me if the DFW5.0's sticker was a gang, and Me wearing a suit said Really? He dropped it pretty quick. Hope the rest of the weekend is better!

Tough break, man.

I've always thought that speed limit changes getting off a freeway to a frontage road were bullshit. You go from a typical 60-65 MPH to a 40 MPH...come on.

Paid off my first speeding ticket in over 5 years yesterday morning. $297 with deferred disposition for doing 46mph in a 35mph zone. SMH. I also have several friends who have been pulled over since the start of the new year for speeding. Be careful out there, everyone. I've been driving the speed limit since I got my ticket because I am sure as hell not going to pay for another one.

I still speed 5-10 over still on the highway. :win:

I've had my DL suspended 3 times for speeding tickets and then got bonus suspension when I got caught driving without a license.
