Need Help Wth Wheel Offset/Fitment
Looking at new wheels and tires this summer if I can save up enough for them. The wheels I'm looking into are Niche Sport M131 Targa wheel, made by MHT Wheels.
I want to run a staggered 19x9.5/10 setup, and I'm stuck on the offset I will nee to get to avoid rubbing, but also flush the tires/wheels with the fender lip. Below are the tech specs pulled from MHT's site on the Targa. Wheel Size: 19" x 9.5" Fits: Mustang / Lexus Sedan Bolt Pattern: 5 x 4.5" ET: 35 Bore: 72.6 Load: 1600 Wheel Size: 19" x 10" Fits: Mustang / Lexus Sedan / 350Z / G35 Coupe Bolt Pattern: 5 x 4.5" ET: 25 Bore: 72.6 Load: 1600 Plans are to run a 275/35/19 or 285/35/19 up front, and a 285/40/19 or 295/35/19 in back. I am also lowered on BMR springs, with roughly 1.25" front and 1.5" rear drop over the stock Brembo height with Tokico D-spec struts (and shocks soon). So with the above offsets and tire sizes, with I have any issues with clearing or rubbing? |
I posted on SVTP.
The rears wont sit flush. offset is too low. |
For the rear you could run a minimum +38 offset depending on backspacing. But
.. you're limiting you tire options. |

I wouldn't mind running a square 19x9.5 setup, but I like the look of a staggered setup. Just screams muscle car to me. If I did start tracking the car, I plan on keeping the Brembo wheels and I could also just turn those into tracks rims with some 275s on them. |
With that offset you're limiting how big you can go. You run a big tire in the back you run into the chance of rubbing.

You could do the 19x10 with a +25 offset with a 295/30/19. It'd poke out of the fender well a little though. I had 18x10's on mine for a while with a +22 offset. The ideal offset for u would be between +40/+50.

I just checked out their tech specs on those wheels. If I were you, I'd do the 19x8.5+25 with a 255/40/19 and the 19x9.5+35 with a 285/35/19. The best looking option would be a square setup on 20x10's with a +40:) and some 295/30/20 michelins on all 4
