gut stock cats or buy deletes?
I have magnaflow catback woth pypes x pipe. Personally it is to quiet for me. Trying to decide if I want to gut my factory cats or just buy deletes. What are your thoughts?

Buy deletes there cheap and then you can go back to stock later.

I have a pair of stock cats I'll sell if you want to stick with the OEM fit.

Thinking about getting these but I'm not running the stock h-pipe. My X-pipe slips on. Will it still work?

I've been real happy with this setup. Next for me will be Kooks LT's and O/R X. These will not work with my X and Deletes. |
I have Jegs cat deletes. For both my factory mid and 3" h pipe. Don't mess with gutting the cats.

Question for the O/R guys. Was the gain noticable?
|
Yes

I'd say I gained 10hp going to a ORX

Looks like mixed feelings.

Yes.

That's because you didn't run a tune on it. Lol Get it tuned for no cats and it's noticeable. |

If you didn't notice anything, then something was wrong. Tune and deleting cats are the two biggest N/A power mods |

Ive heard of stock cars with no tunes making a big diff with cat deletes.

Just got the ORH on some difference in middle of rpm band. Sent off for new tune to go with the H. Will report back then.
