Post Your Latest Mustang Related Purchase
I've always used to seeing one of these threads on other forums I belong to, so I figured I would start it here. Goal is just to keep everyone in the loop of what mods we will be working on through what we buy for our babies.
Most of this stuff I got around Christmas time due to sales and whatever. DSS Aluminum Driveshaft: Awaiting arrival BMR Relocation Brackets: Came in today Roush Boost-A-Pump: Awaiting arrival Can't wait for the tracks and road courses to open up again! |
Just ordered a set of chamfer drilled and slotted rotors from brakeperformance.com. For $260 it's worth seeing how they compared and hold up to beginner track days and AutoX.
Other than that, I have a few things sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. I should've gotten a Boss rear diffuser, but I decided brakes should be done since I'm approaching 36k on the stockers, and I don't know if I trust them to hold up to my first track day. |
Engine build, currently looking for some valve covers.
|
Bought a Saleen grille for a '10-'12 car, I don't even own a Mustang yet and am at least 6 months from buying one! I think I might have a problem.
Also trying to figure out how to get an emblem made for it in Grabber Blue that won't cost an arm and a leg. |

Wouldn't say I'm the one being dramatic when you keep throwing out the personal insults there chief. I'm merely trying to have a conversation about mods over here.
If a moderator wants to pull these posts to clean up the thread and keep it on track instead of derailed like where its going, perfectly fine by me. |
Ohh speaking of brake lights, does anyone know how to make the brake lights do what the blinkers do when you hit the pedal? I saw a couple year older, maybe '08ish, Mustang the other day that had them and they look awesome.

Got this puppy in today which I'm sure my ProCharger will be happy about. Also scheduled a dyno tuning session with Jeff Smith now that CTP opened up there doors again this week. Excited to see the results next Thursday! Also, last night my car was featured on Steeda's Facebook and Google+ sites. I thought that was very cool to spot! http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...ps3b08a1cf.jpg |
