Possible trunk lid trade
 

Looking to trade a GT500 style spoiler & trunk lid for a CS Wing & trunk lid. My car is a Sterling Gray Metallic 2013 GT.

I would love to find someone who has a rear spoiler delete in SGM who would be interested in trading. 2011-12.

I don't have the cs wing but I do have the mini wing and lid in sgm. I cud throw in a bit of cash.

What is the mini-wing?

Factory premium wing. It's the smaller one.

Wing or spoiler? The only wing that I know of for the 11-14s is the CS four pedestal wing. The factory version of the GT500 spoiler is smaller than the GT500 aftermarket version but larger than the factory small-lipped spoiler. The four pedestal CS wing is the only one I have an interest in. Thanks,

I have a brand new GT/CS in the same color and I can't decide which one I like better... my stock one or your GT500. I'm considering it, but I'd like to see the two cars side by side to make a decision. Do you ever go to any get-together meets or are you ever around the north DFW area (frisco/plano/carrollton/etc)?

I do but they are usually in south or west Fort Worth. While it may be a distance for you, there will be a car show (mostly Mustangs) at the Lancaster Airport Warbird Fly-in this Saturday. I will be there for most of the day. We could always meet somewhere in the middle.

Not a definitive shot but it shows the spoiler in profile.

Mine is a sterling gray gt/cs. Exactly what you are wanting. I just want to see them side by side to know for sure so I'll see you at the GP meet this week.

What I was concerned with was what faux gas cap does it have on the decklid. For some reason I thought the CS had the same 3-bar and pony as the V6 where mine says GT. This may or may not be hard to also change. We'll figure it out on Wed I suppose.

The gt/cs cap will say "California special" on it I believe.

Yes, my "gas cap" is different. We'd also have to swap those or swap just the wings if the bolt pattern is the same?

I have a 2013 SGM decklid that is wingless im willing to trade it is a v6 model though so the emblem is different. if something doesnt go through with yalls.

The CS wing uses 8 holes for mounting which means an additional four would have to be drilled in mine. I went through that with my other car. Not too much of a problem. The big deal is removing the GT500 spoiler. That 3M tape is a killer to get off. My factory little lip spoiler took two hours to remove and clean off the tape and I broke it in the process. That was with three different brands of tape remover and the proper tools. Yuck!

Thanks for the offer but if something doesn't work, I'll be perfectly happy with keeping mine.

Sounds like swapping the fake gas cap will be the easier thing to swap out. Swapping wings only sounds like a PITA. Now I just need to look up how to swap those out.

I tried to find a video but could not. I think once we pull the trunklid liner, it should be obvious. I have all the tools to do this. There are eight pop-retainers holding on the liner and four M6 nuts holding on the trunklid itself. I assume you have Sirius/XM, we have to disconnect the antenna plug.
